The T2 Avionics Type Rating course provides knowledge and proficiency to operate aircraft with a high level of safety and great efficiency, in accordance with EASA PART 147 requirements.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Avionics Type Rating
PREQUESITES
APPLICANTS MUST
Have a basic level of knowledge of the B2 category
OR
Hold an academic degree in aircraft maintenance
OR
Hold the certification (release to service) of the “grand-father law”
AND
Hold recorded practical maintenance background on similar avionics systems
AND
Be capable of reading and understanding the official maintenance documentation, and have the ability to write and communicate in comprehensive English, to prevent any misunderstandings.
It is strongly recommended to have at least 6 months of practical experience on helicopter airframe within the prior 24 months.

COURSE CONTENT
THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL INSTRUCTION (Duration: 3 to 5 WEEKS)

All PART 147 courses may be completed with certification at the customer’s facilities (aircraft availability is mandatory)
SKILLS TEST
Throughout the courses, the trainee will perform type rating skills tests and practical assessment in compliance with PART 147 requirements. The applicant should demonstrate the required skills to operate the corresponding type of helicopter in the safest conditions.
CERTIFICATE
After successful course completion, the trainee will be awarded:
A PART 147 certificate on the aircraft type
OR
An AHTS diploma for NON PART 147 courses.
