Recurrent Emergency

By performing your Recurrent Emergency course with AHTS, you will be able to accomplish emergency procedures with safety and proficiency thanks to our experienced instructors.

PREQUESITES

APPLICANTS MUST

  • Hold an up-to-date type rating on the variant
  • Hold a valid medical certificate

    COURSE CONTENT

    (Course duration: 2 days)

    FLIGHT INSTRUCTION

    Flight training provides the pilot with demonstration and performance of emergency procedures.

    Single-engine:
    Flight training consists in emergency procedures including landing with hydraulics off; full autorotation and governor procedures (when applicable)

    Multi-engine:
    Flight training consists in emergency procedures including systems failure, tail rotor control failure, power recovery, governor failure, engine failure during take-off, land and level flight.

    CERTIFICATE

    After successful course completion, the trainee will be awarded an AHTS certificate.

    Multi-Engine Preliminary

    The Multi-engine Preliminary course provides knowledge on aircraft and flight preparation required for a first type rating on a multi-engine aircraft.

    GENERAL KNOWLEDGE ON THE AIRCRAFT

  • Technical differences between single and multi-Engine
  • FLIGHT PREPARATION

  • Study of regulations and use of the curves (A and B categories, performance group)


  • (Note: Pilots must hold a professional license and have an experience > 500 flight hours.)

    CERTIFICATE

    After successful course completion, the trainee will be awarded an AHTS certificate.

    The Crew Resources Management (CRM) course provides the theoretical knowledge to reduce risks due to aircrew errors and thus increase mission effectiveness.
