NH90 TTH

Avionics Type Rating

The NH 90 TTH Avionics Type Rating course is designed to provide avionics with the knowledge and necessary skills to maintain avionics, mission, automatic pilot, and electrical systems of the NH 90 TTH. It combines both theoretical instruction and practical training. The contents of the training courses are, as far as applicable, in accordance with the standards as specified by the EASA PART 66 regulations

NH 90 TTH Avionics Type Rating

PREQUESITES

APPLICANTS MUST

  • Be qualified as an avionics technician (hold a diploma equivalent to B2 license)

  • Have completed the familiarization course

  • Have a good knowledge of helicopter electrical and avionics systems and instruments.

  • Have at least 3 years of experience in maintenance of aircraft avionics and electrical systems (O and I) within the last 5 years

  • Be familiar with the use of helicopter documentation

  • Have the capacity to read, write and express in English with comprehensive level on technical documentation.


  • To evaluate your aptitudes to join the course, the following tests are available on the Learner Portal, free of charge for the customer (strongly recommended):

  • COURSE CONTENT

    (Total duration of the course: NH90 TTH:7 weeks)

    THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL INSTRUCTION

  • Electronic flight instrument System

  • Electrical generation and lighting systems

  • Piloting, navigation, communication and identification system

  • Flight controls system

  • Tactical mission system
  • SKILLS TEST

    At the end of the courses, the trainee will perform a type rating skills test and flight assessment in compliance with the training syllabus. The applicant should demonstrate the required skills for the safe operation of the applicable type of helicopter

    CERTIFICATE

    After successful course completion, the trainee will be awarded an AHTS certificate.

    Avionics Type Rating

    Avionics Armement Type Rating

    The Tiger Avionics Armament Type Rating course provides avionics armament personnel with the knowledge and necessary skill to maintain avionics, mission, automatic pilots and electrical systems of the Tiger. It combines both theoretical instruction and practical training. The contents of the training courses are, as far as applicable, in accordance with the standards, as specified by the EASA PART 66 regulations.

    4 weeks

    APPLICANTS MUST

  • Be qualified as an Avionics Technician (hold a diploma equivalent to the B2 license)

  • Have completed the Familiarization course

  • Have a good knowledge of helicopter electrical and avionics systems on instrument

  • Have a basic knowledge of systems based on Digital technology

  • Have at least 3 years of experience in maintenance of aircraft avionics and electrical systems ( 0 and I level)

  • Be familiar with the use of aircraft technical documentation

  • Have the capacity to read, write and express themselves in English with a comprehensive level on technical documentation

    Throughout the course, the trainee will perform a type rating skills test and practical assessment in compliance with the training syllabus. The applicant should demonstrate the required skills to operate the applicable type of helicopter in the safest conditions

    CERTIFICATE

    After successful course completion, the trainee will be awarded an AHTS certificate.
