Pilot Instructors for Ground and Simulation Courses

T.K.I - Theoretical Knowledge Instructor and S.F.I - Synthetic Flight Instructor

Job Description

Your mission will consist in performing type rating and other training courses (theoretical & simulation) for customers worldwide on the AIRBUS HELICOPTERS range.

Required Experience

  • Multi-engine rated helicopter pilot, preferably qualified on the AIRBUS HELICOPTERS range, holding a CPL (h), CPL IR (h) or equivalent

  • 10 years of experience (1500 flight hours, including 500 hours in IFR)

  • Operational level in English (Level 4)

  • Experience in multi-pilot operations and / or experience in ground instruction and simulator.
    S.F.I training may be completed after being employed if necessary.

    Mechanic Instructors (B1.3) and Avionic Instructors (B2)

    Job Description

    Your principal mission consists in delivering training and ensuring the follow-up of trainees. You may participate to short overseas missions.

    You will also be in charge of preparing, writing, and updating the theoretical and practical course content in your specific field.

    Profile

  • Having BAC+2 (second year of higher education) level in Technique or Science (BTS/DUT…)
  • Or
  • Equivalent qualification completed in a national military school or international military school (certificate needed)

  • Or
  • Eligibility to the license Part66 B1 or B2 or C; FRA 66 category Be or equivalent ICAO
  • Required Technical Experience

    5 years minimum experience in an appropriate aviation environment including:
  • For avionic instructors: 5 years minimum in aeronautical environment with avionic specialty

  • For mechanic instructors: 5 years minimum on helicopter
  • Required Teaching Experience

  • Minimum 6 months teaching experience
  • Or
  • Minimum 5 days of teaching training including practical training with an accreditation issued by a PART147 competent training organization
  • Specific knowledge

  • Having completed a training on the corresponding type rating at the level required by the Part66
  • Having a good knowledge in Human factors principles
  • Having a safety culture
  • Fluency in English
