GENERAL INFORMATION
1 Week Light Helicopter T1 Type Examination + Refresh
T1 Airframe Type Examination + Refresh (optional) - Single Engine Helicopters
PREQUESITES
APPLICANTS MUST
Have a basic level of knowledge of the B1-3 category
OR
Hold the certification (release to service) of the “grand-father law”
AND
Have a recorded practical maintenance background on similar helicopter
AND
Have endorsed on his license at least one Type Qualification on a light helicopter
AND
Be capable of reading and understanding the official maintenance documentation, and have the ability to write and communicate in comprehensive English, to prevent any misunderstandings.
To evaluate your aptitudes to join the course, a Technical English test is available on the Learner Portal, free of charge for the customer.
CONTENT
1 day
Friday in Marignane or in situ worldwide
The T1 Airframe type examination is organized in accordance with EASA Part 147 requirements.
* IMPORTANT NOTES
the trainee will need to:
perform practical tasks
validate its certificate with the authorities once it receives its certificate
In case of failure at the exam, a trainee will have to wait 30 days before being able to take a new one
In case of failure at the exam a second time he will have to wait 60 days before being able to take a new one
In case of failure at the exam a 3rd time he will have to wait 1 year before being able to take a new one
There will be no re-test
A good level of English is recommended
CERTIFICATE
After successful course test completion, the trainee will be awarded:
A Certificate EASA Part 147 for B1.3 helicopter type examination
An optional Refresh is available offering a Certificate of attendance for the refresh training.
The Mechanics Refresh training provides knowledge updating on the Helicopter Systems in order to operate aircraft with a high level of safety.

CONTENT
4 day Training
Monday to Thursday in Marignane or in situ worldwide
A/C generalities
Safety-oriented practical task on full-size helicopters & parts
Comprehensive knowledge of the aircraft
Autonomy on basic maintenance tasks
Courses will be performed in English.
Included 1 month pre-access to the T1 Airframe course materials for preparation.
At the end of the course, the full course material and trainees’ personal notes will be provided in digital format.
